Welcome

Welcome, this page is dedicated is to the late 94-96 Chevy Impala Super Sport. This vehicle belongs to a small group of American made cars that are easily modified and completely customizable. It was the last of the big body muscle cars to roll off GM's line ending an era of power, strength and speed. Since the end of its short 3 year run, the Impala has grown in popularity more than any other vehicle I can think of. An international organization -NAISSO- was conceived to cater to the ever increasing demand for organized events, information exchange, and parts & accessories. Regional chapters sprung up in nearly every state, and in turn the Impala grew into a legend. Today, with the internet making information exchange easier than ever, thousands of Impala owners can exchange technical information, swap parts, share experiences, and build friendships. Few vehicles of the last decade can claim this kind of owner loyalty. So that's why I created this page, to document the history and the future of my

Update: 09/08/2003
MANY, MANY thanks to the CrowFlyawa crew for the infrastructure donations, we are now running much faster (450mhz vs. 200mhz . don't laugh) servers with more ram and hard drive space. We also have spread the server load over 3 servers so response time should be much improved. Email me if you run into any problems.
Update: 7/21/2003
The website has come home, literally. We are now
hosting on our own servers!!! We will take a hit on overall uptime, due
to occasional reboots, but we now have a fully serviceable website. We
have a FTP server available with a large selection of Impala Videos and more!
Click the link above for access. On a side note, I did not stop
using Custom Computers Unlimited due to their service level, merely because
I'm broke. If you need web hosting, I personally recommend
Customcomputerunlimited.com
for all your hosting needs.
Since I am basically starting from scratch, I decided to break down the mod list into stages. As is, the car came with a K&N Filtercharger kit, and Hooker mufflers. The filter kit eliminated the stock intake pipe and resonator, replacing it with a larger and less restrictive pipe. It also came with a nice stereo system, but that's another story. The first stage involved all the cheap or free mods that were posted on the Impala FAQ. *UPDATE* The FAQ has disappeared, the link is broken.
